I booked this for a week in Paris and it was perfect for what I needed. Private room with sink and shower (toilet is down the hall). Desk space to work and write. Shelves and storage so I could unpack my bag and hang up my shirts. There is a safe in the room with a digital lock so you can securely store your passport, laptop, and other valuables. Breakfast each morning was good. Nothing fancy, but nice start to the day. Simple and affordable accommodation in the Bastille area of Paris. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep each night and don't want to spend a lot, you're unlikely to find much better than this. I'd stay here again.

The staff all spoke English and were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decent for what it was, if you're on a budget it's the perfect place to stay. We had an individual room with a bunk bed, which was perfect for us traveling as two females. It can get hot in the summer but it's not unbearable. The location is great, it's very close to a stop along Metro 8 which connects to the rest of the Paris Metro. The view from the top floor was also very picturesque when you leaned out the balcony and looked down the street. The street has a lot of really good restaurants to try, and has other things like pharmacies and grocery stores. Most people in this area speak English, but they are also patient with you if you want to practice your French, which we did when we could.
