the location was perfect. Very central and close to all the main attractions. It was a pretty hotel.
We were very disappointed in the room. We had booked a superior room and what we were given did not live up to expectations at all. We were at first given a very small twin bedded room which the receptionist did admit had been a mistake. We were moved to a bigger room with a king size bed but it was still basic. The shower had grouting problems, the fittings in the bathroom were plain. The worst thing was the noise. It came directly from the kitchen and was very loud. We should have asked for another move but didn't. We are not good complainers and felt uncomfortable asking for another change.
The other big disappointment was that the rooftop terrace was not open for breakfast despite it being May. It had been one of the influences for choosing this hotel.
