If you are looking for character and charm, then this place is for you. If you want modern and new, this place is not for you. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. The buses we took to get around most of the time were about a 4 minute walk and Angel Station was about a 10 minute walk. Other reviewers mentioned the bathroom being upstairs - there aren’t that many steps but it is narrow. The one caveat is that the shower is small. If you are a large person, showering may be difficult. Communication with the host, Tatyana, was excellent. Would stay here again!

The location was ideal for staying in a quiet, non-tourist area while still in walking distance to tubes, busses, restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops. Charming English decor and very comfortable. Washer/dryer combo was very useful and allowed us to pack less clothing so we could take more gifts home. Great communication with the host. We would definitely stay here again!
