The apartment is only a 30 minute walk from the Eiffel tower and 10 minutes from the Metro and RER train stations so access to the rest of Paris is superb. It's a ground floor apartment (which helped with the heat) in a quiet street with roller metal shutters which can be closed at night time which was excellent for keeping the light out. There's plenty of fantastic local fruit and veg shops just around the corner as well as a market on Wednesdays and Fridays, there's several convenience stores within 5 minutes walk as well as one that was open until 11:45PM. It was perfect as a base to go out and tour Paris by day and very reasonably priced.
