The location is superb. The 9th is a fabulous area, not only beautiful but packed with great restaurants, bars and bistrots, grocery stores etc.. Although generally calm and quiet area it is located very closely to the nightlife of Paris as well. Within a 45 minute walk to most places a tourist would want to see. (Keep in mind I am a big walker though) Metro is very close by as well.
